Telangana Police SI Eligibility Details: Telangana State level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) eligibility details for the following posts are given below

1. Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Sub Inspector of Police (Civil) (Men & Women)
2. Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Sub Inspector of Police (AR) (Men & Women)
3. Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Sub Inspector of Police (SAR CPL) (Men)
4. Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Reserve Sub Inspector of Police (TSSP) (Men)
5. Sub Inspector (Men) in Special Protection Force (SPF) Department
6. Station Fire Officer in Telangana State Disaster Response & Fire Services Department

Eligibility Criteria:

Age limit: Candidates age should be between 21-25 years for Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Sub Inspector of Police, Sub Inspector, 18-30 years for Station Fire Officer.

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable as under:
i) Upto a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Backward Class or a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.
ii) Length of regular service limited upto a maximum of five years if a candidate is an employee of Telangana State Government. (Employees of TSTRANSCO, Discoms, TSGENCO, State Road Transport Corporation and other Telangana State Corporations, Municipalities, Local bodies, Public Sector under takings etc. are not entitled for age relaxation). The service certificate as shown in Annexure IX.
iii) Three years in addition to the length of service rendered in the Army, Navy or Air Force of the Indian Union for the candidates who served in the Army, Navy or Air Force of the Indian Union.
iv) Three years in addition to the length of service rendered as a whole time Cadet Corps Instructor in NCC provided the candidate has rendered a minimum service of 6 months as a whole time Cadet Corps Instructor in NCC.
v) Upto a maximum of three years if a candidate is a retrenched temporary employee in the State Census Department with a minimum service of 6 months during 1991.

For Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Sub Inspector of Police (Civil & AR) (For Women candidates): In the case of a widow, a divorced woman or a woman judicially separated from her husband, and who is not remarried:
a) The candidate if she is an SC or ST, must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 40 years on 01-07-2016 i.e., she must have been born not earlier than 02-07-1976 and not later than 01-07-1998.
b) In the case of all other categories other than SC & ST, the candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 35 years as on 01-07-2016 i.e., she must have been born not earlier than 02-07-1981 and not later than 01-07-1998.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Degree awarded by any University in India, established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provisional Act of State or of any institution recognised by the University Grants Commission or any other equivalent qualification. In the case of a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, he/she must have passed Intermediate or any other examination recognized by the Telangana State Government as being equivalent to Intermediate and should have studied 3 years Degree course.

Medical Standards:
1. Eye Sight: Visual Standards required shall be as follows:

Vision Right Eye Left Eye
Distant Vision 6/6 6/6
Near Vision 0/5 (Snellen) 0/5 (Snellen)

b. Each eye must have a full field of vision.
c. Colour blindness, squint or any morbid condition of the eye or lids of either eye shall be deemed to be a disqualification.
2. The candidate should possess sound health and be free from any bodily defect or infirmity which will render him unfit for the posts notified.
3. Candidates who have the following ailments or defects will not be considered for recruitment to any post specified in this rule
a. Physically handicapped
b. Knocking-knees, pigeon chest, flat foot, Vericose veins, Hammer toes, fractured limbs, decayed teeth, stammering, hard of hearing and abnormal psychological behaviour.
